Nettle Pesto

Makes approximately one cup.

Ingredients

• 4 cups loosely packed nettle tops and leaves
• 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts, pecans, or toasted sunflower seeds)
• 3+ cloves of fresh garlic
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice or balsamic vinegar
• 1 tablespoon sea salt

Directions

Blend ingredients together until smooth. Serve with pasta, zucchini noodles, or use as a sauce for homemade pizza!
